Folks often want to know what to expect when they go country dancing.  Well, it is different every where you go!  Some places focus striclty on line dancing, while others cater more towards swing dancing and two step.  The majority of places that you go dancing will have a wide variety of country western dance styles being danced throughout the night.

If you go country dancing in Provo, UT for example, you wil find most styles of country dancing.  Most of your beginning dancers, and people more interested in the social aspect of dancing stick to the line dancing, the swing dancing, and the ocasional cowboy cha cha.  You will find many of the most experienced dancers and regulars participating in all styles, including some of the more complicated types of dancing such as west coast swing, two step, night club two step, etc.
